This place is great. The food is amazing (except cornbread, very hard and dry). The service took a min yet it's fresh so that's a plus. The bartender Millie was knowledgeable and great. Her drinks were on point. Definitely will return

Here for work. Many different people all said "Pit Boss!" When I asked for a good bbq joint. So I checked Yelp. And headed over. Vibe check. 1. Smells smokey and meaty. Off to a good start. 2. Full on DJ that smiles and greets you at the door while spinning a perfect blend of tunes at a proper level (not ear splitting or ridiculous. ). Also a good thing and kinda unique. 3. A full bar for people that likes the boozes. 4. Staff were all friendly and polite and welcoming 5. Table was clean with no icky sticky arm hair plucky yuck yuck. Now!! The FOOD!!! I got a 3 meat combo w two sides and a cup of water. Priced fairly. Food came hot and correct. Pulled pork was piled and seasoned and tasty. Brisket had bark and was in nice bite sized chunks. Didn't need sauce but sauce was yummy. I got the baby back ribs and they were meaty and tender with delicious flavor. The collard greens had good pot liquor and flavor with generous meat bits. So soft and well stewed!! And the baked beans were excellent and hot. The corn bread was firm and had corn chunks. It wasn't overly sweet or so fragile you couldn't dip it. The water was cold and likely filtered as I didn't catch that pool water tap water funk that some places have. To be clear. ALL OF THE STAFF were friendly , smiling and genuinely welcoming. But the young lady in charge of walking the dining area ? Dude !! She probably checked in little ole me alone at least 3-4 times and It wasn't cuzza my looks! She just genuinely seemed to at least on some level care that I was doing ok. What more can you ask for ? The outside is kinda unassuming and gimmick free. But the inside is packed with yummy smoked meats and all the good good to go with it. I live far far from here. I do very much hope to get to come back and I hope this place hasn't changed if I do ! Thanks Pit Boss Crew for the good meal when I was far from home.

This place really brought me a nostalgic feeling of being a little girl at the family barbecue. This is honestly the best bbq I've had in Atlanta thus far. I think I might have found a go to spot to take family before their flights. The spare ribs juicy and tender. The brisket was also really good. I've never had Brunswick Stew until my visit and that was amazing as well. Overall, the food and atmosphere were great. The staff were extremely friendly as well.

My first meal out for the New Year and I had to go to Pit Boss. For some reason at about 4:00 pm I had an intense yearn for BBQ. As such, it had to be of quality and filling. Pulling up to Pit Boss, there was ample parking spaces so I was able to get to a park quickly and head inside. The establishment was spotless and the ambiance was vibrant as the game was playing and everyone was eating, watching, and cheering. Walking up to the cashier, I explored the menu a bit and decided to get the half slab of ribs with cornbread and I added a side of baked beans. I placed my order, paid, and took a seat. The booth I sat in was super clean and the table wasn't sticky. I love cleanliness. Ha. Once the food was ready, my name was called, I waved my hand and the server brought my food over. Before she could even get to me, I smelled my ribs and began to melt. As I opted for the sauce not to be added, I was able to inhale the natural aroma of the smoked pork, dry rub, and flowing juices. I loveeeeeeeeeeeeee this place. As if the smell wasn't enough, my first bite depleted my entire food loving soul. The meat was fall off the bone tender. The flavor was robust. And the ribs were meatyyyyyyyyyy. I was so happy as I can't stand a diet rib. The baked beans were just as I remember them and that is amazing. Babeeeeeeeeee. These tender, plump, well seasoned, sweet but not too sweet beans just melted in my mouth and immediately made my heart smile. The meat. The beans. The service. The cleanliness. The environment. Pit Boss is a classic that will forever be my go to for great BBQ food at a fair price.

It was clean inside and the servers were nice and efficient. Did a to go order, got the two meat plate with fatty brisket and pork ribs. The brisket was PERFECT! Super flavorful, beyond juicy and tender, I ate it with no sauce and didn't miss it!! The ribs were the same, incredibly moist but I did like the sauce on it. My only gripe are the sides - potato salad the potatoes were undercooked for my preference. The Mac and cheese isn't gooey or anything, it was a little dry and bland. Would def come back for the ribs and brisket - would make my own sides probably!

This place was hopping! Arrived around 12:30 and the place was packed. The line to order moved quickly, and food was coming out fast! I ordered the three meats but was disappointed to find out they were all out of ribs! Before we left, they apparently ran out of chopped chicken, also. My husband really like the burger with brisket on it. I thought all three meats were flavorful, and the brisket was moist! I didn't get to taste the bbq sauce until we were about to leave. I tasted the mild one and it was good, but a bit watery (not thick like a normal bbq sauce). I also liked the collards. The Mac and cheese was not very good (lacked flavor and the cheese was a bit grainy). The bathrooms were very clean! Overall, it was a good experience, the food was good, and the portions were good for the price. We left with leftovers from my meal. Definitely recommend you try this place!! :-)

Quick Atlanta airport layover, searched for best BBQ spot near the airport. Located just 5 mins away in a big corner lot. Lots of parking and roomy interior. Has full bar on one side. Brisket. Kind of dry but good Smokey flavor. I just wished it was less overcooked and a little fattier. Spare Rib Bones, once again great smoke flavor, some sections were juicy and fatty but the end tips were dry. Smoked Wings, pleasant surprise, awesome smoke and flavor, some were juicy and some were dry. The Pit Boss mild and Hot sauces were both on point! Slightly sweet, tangy, savory and delicious great heat! Pro tip: combine hot bbq sauce with the ranch, delicious savory creaminess! The sides were good too, Cole slaw and potato salad. Service is friendly and fast. Overall great flavor, prices are not cheap but reasonable, just wished their quality control on cooking time could be better.

First time in college park and was craving some southern bbq. Our family went here cause of the great reviews we read and we weren't disappointed at all. We ordered a lb of brisket, full rack of baby back, a lb of rib tips, 10 wings, loaded fries, a large Cole slaw and collard greens. It was a lot of food and it all cost around $150. The service was quick we picked our table and they brought us trays and within 10 minutes our food arrived. The best was the brisket so soft and moist we should have ordered more, rib tips crunchy cartilage!, the smoked wings very flavorful and the collard greens. The worse was the baby back ribs it was so dry! All in all it was a decent bbq experience hit the spot and satisfied the craving.
